Balancing vibration isolation against structural support, the UU20-60*-60 is a 60 Shore A medium-grade UU shear mounting designed for the broad middle ground of machinery and instrument mounting. With principal dimensions of 90 mm (A) × 20 mm (B) and a 50 mm (C) height, this compact unit accepts a maximum load of 35 kg with a rated deflection of 5.0 mm, figures that position it firmly in the light-load band whilst retaining meaningful resistance to movement under working conditions. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonded technology, this mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both. The 60 Shore A rubber formulation sits at the midpoint of the available hardness range: softer than a firm grade for better isolation compliance, yet sufficiently robust to carry the rated load with controlled deflection. This makes it well suited to general-purpose installations where neither extreme isolation nor high load capacity is the sole priority. The UU20-60*-60 serves a wide spread of industries including construction and off-highway, power generation, marine, agriculture, railway and mass transit, automotive, and military and defence applications. It is equally at home protecting instruments, electronics, and light equipment from vibration as it is mounting small machinery and supporting surrounding structures from transmitted shock. Secondary dimensions D and E are both 34 mm, F is 39 mm, and G and H are 10 mm. Custom options including stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers are available on request.
