Open spring mountings of this type are intended for low-frequency vibration isolation under normal working conditions, loaded to a maximum deflection of approximately 20 mm under standard service and 23 mm as rated for this unit. The rubber-to-metal bonded design allows the mount to accept loading in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving designers flexibility in installation orientation.
