Rated to a maximum load of 1400 kg with 25 mm deflection, the ESL25/1400 is the largest mount in the ESL25 range, an enclosed spring mounting engineered to deliver low-frequency vibration isolation under heavy and shock-duty operating conditions. With an overall diameter of 180 mm and M16 fixing thread, this mount is sized and specified for machinery and plant where high deflection with low natural frequency is the governing requirement. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction gives the ESL25/1400 its structural integrity across demanding service environments. The enclosed spring design protects the spring element from contamination and mechanical damage, and the mount accepts loading in shear, compression, or a combination of both, providing flexibility in installation orientation. At this end of the range, the mount is suited to heavy static loads and applications where shock forces or high dynamic inputs must be absorbed without transmitting damaging vibration to supporting structures or adjacent equipment. The ESL25/1400 is applied across a broad spread of heavy-duty industries including power generation, construction and off-highway equipment, marine installations, agricultural machinery, railway and mass transit, and military and defence platforms. Enclosed Spring Mountings are a high-performance product, capable of achieving up to 99% vibration reduction. Enclosed Spring Mounts consist of steel coil springs mounted within a steel cup. The steel cup controls the lateral movement of the mounted equipment and also contains snubbing rubber to control start-up and shut-down movements. Ideal for industrial machinery. The mountings are supplied with a top fixing bolt to allow for leveling after installation and can be supplied with an oil-resistant anti-slip pad under the base.
