At 165mm overall diameter, the FB70s-45 is the largest flanged bush in the FB70s series, engineered at 45 Shore A to deliver maximum vibration isolation with pronounced deflection under load, making it the grade of choice where isolating vibration matters more than restraining movement. With a maximum load rating of 450 kg, it is well suited to mainstream general-machinery mounting at moderate loads where lower-frequency isolation is the priority. Construction follows the proven rubber-bonded inner-outer-sleeve (IOS) method, with rubber bonded between inner and outer metal sleeves for high durability under dynamic loads and extended service life. The soft 45 Shore A compound yields greater deflection than harder grades, absorbing more vibration energy and better protecting sensitive surrounding structures and operators. No lubrication is required and the bush is entirely maintenance free throughout its service life. Custom versions in stainless steel metals and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers are available on request. Dimensionally, the bush is specified as follows: A 165 mm, B 98 mm, C 36 mm, D 46 mm, E 60.2 mm, F 119 mm, G 22 mm (Figure 2 geometry). The soft grade is particularly suited to applications where isolating lower-frequency vibration from lighter or sensitive equipment is critical, including cab mounts, engine mounts, pivot bearings, and mechanical linkages in construction, off-highway, agricultural, power generation, marine, and railway and mass transit plant.
