Precision-engineered for lighter, compact and sensitive installations, the 1008MM10-60 is a male-male bobbin anti-vibration mount in the smallest footprint of this geometry series, measuring 10 mm outer diameter by 8 mm height, with an M4 x 10 mm threaded stud at each end. At 60 Shore A hardness, this mid-grade mount is calibrated to deliver a working balance of vibration isolation and structural support, suited to applications where neither excessive deflection nor rigid restraint is desirable. It accepts a maximum load of 4.3 kg per mounting with a rated deflection of 0.6 mm, parameters that position it firmly in the lighter end of the load range and make it a considered choice wherever load control and damping need to coexist without compromise. Constructed using rubber-to-metal bonding, the bobbin may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, providing mounting flexibility across a variety of orientations. The 60 Shore A rubber compound occupies the broad middle ground of the hardness scale: softer than a firm-grade mount to absorb vibration from sensitive instruments or lightweight machinery, yet firm enough to resist movement where a soft-grade mount would prove insufficiently supportive. Custom options including stainless steel hardware and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers are available on request for specialist environments.
