Compact and balanced, the 1008MF10-60 is a male-female rubber bobbin anti-vibration mount measuring 10 mm diameter by 8 mm height, with an M4 male stud (10 mm length) and M4 female thread, rated to a maximum load of 4.4 kg and a deflection of 0.6 mm at 60 Shore A hardness, a medium grade that delivers a practical equilibrium between vibration isolation and structural support across a broad range of lightly loaded applications. At 60 Shore A, this mount sits in the middle of the hardness range, where neither maximum isolation nor maximum load capacity dominates. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction allows loading in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers flexible installation geometry in confined or compact assemblies. The medium grade is well suited where a mount must dampen everyday vibration without excessive deflection, maintaining positional stability whilst still absorbing transmitted shock and oscillation. The 1008MF10-60 is applicable across air-conditioning units, instrumentation, industrial machinery, and general equipment where a modest load envelope and controlled movement are priorities. Its small footprint makes it particularly relevant in sensitive or space-constrained installations, generator accessories, compact instrument panels, and light industrial equipment. Male Female Bobbin Mounts referred to as Type B Bobbin or Type 2 Bobbins. They are a low-cost solution to reducing vibration & shock and are used in applications where a bolt fixing is required. They can be used in either Shear of Compression or a combination of both and can be produced with different thread variations. Many additional sizes are also offered, and the Bobbins can also be produced in Stainless Steel and Oil Resistant & High Temperature rubber compounds.
