Balancing vibration isolation with structural support, the Female-Female Bobbin Mount 2015FF06-60 is a rubber-to-metal bonded anti-vibration mount in the 20x15mm body size with M6 female threads at both ends and a 60 Shore A medium rubber hardness grade. At this mid-range hardness, the mount is engineered to serve the broad middle ground of machinery mounting, carrying loads up to 14.8 kg with a controlled deflection of 1.0 mm, making it well suited where neither maximum compliance nor maximum rigidity is required, but a reliable equilibrium of the two is. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction resists both vibration and shock loads, and the mount may be used in shear, compression, or a combination of both loading modes. The medium 60 Shore A grade sits between the softer grades, which prioritise isolation at lower loads, and the harder grades, which prioritise load-bearing with reduced movement, giving this variant its natural role in general-purpose installations where modest load and dependable damping are equally important. Typical application contexts for the 2015FF06-60 include instrument panels and light industrial equipment, generator sets and air-conditioning units, and automotive or marine auxiliary systems where vibration from moderate-duty engines or rotating machinery must be attenuated without excessive mount deflection. Female Female Bobbins, also referred to as Type C Bobbins or Type 3 Bobbins are a low cost Anti Vibration Mount, suitable for reducing vibration & shock and a vast array of different applications. They should be used in either Shear or Compression or in a combination, however like all bobbins, not put into tension. Bobbins are available with many different thread Sizes, ranging from M3-M24 and in various lengths. Additional Bobbin Mounts sizes are available on request and can be produced in various grades of Stainless Steel and Oil & High Temperature resistant rubbers.
