Suited to mainstream general-machinery mounting at moderate dynamic loads, the IOS0989 is a rubber-bonded inner-outer-sleeve bush with a 28.57 mm inner bore (dimension A), 57.15 mm outer sleeve diameter (B), 85.73 mm body length (C) and an overall length of 88.9 mm (D). Designed for prolonged service life under cyclic loading, its rubber-to-metal bonded construction eliminates the need for lubrication and makes it fully maintenance free. The IOS0989 uses vulcanised rubber bonded between precision inner and outer metal sleeves to deliver high durability under dynamic loads. Because no lubrication points are present, installation is straightforward and ongoing maintenance demands are negligible. The construction accommodates loading in shear, compression, or a combination of both, protecting surrounding structures and improving operator comfort over extended operating cycles. This bush is well matched to general-purpose mechanical linkages, construction and off-highway machinery, agricultural equipment, power-generation plant and marine applications where a standard bore size and a moderate load envelope are required. It is equally applicable to cab mounts, pivot bearings and railway and mass transit pivot points. Custom variants in stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers, together with additional sizes, are available on request.
