Inconsistent drying times and uneven heat during bodywork repairs cost time and produce poor results. The Sealey IR2000S addresses this with a 2100W short wave infrared panel comprising two 1050W elements that delivers focused, controllable heat over an optimal baking area of 0.6 x 0.8 metres. Operating between 60°C and 70°C, it is purpose-built for spot repairs, engine drying, adhesive stripe removal, drying filler, drying primer, and preheating panels prior to spraying. A built-in timer, adjustable from 0 to 30 minutes, automatically switches the lamp off at the end of the cycle so you can concentrate on the work. The reflector measures 530 x 140mm, and the unit is supplied with a sturdy 1500mm plated steel stand featuring a full height sliding heater bracket, allowing precise positioning at any working height. A 3.7-metre power cable with 3-pin plug is included for flexible placement in the workshop. Supplied ready to use on a 230V supply.
