The APT660 operates on a push cutting action, allowing the operator to follow curves and cut-outs without repositioning or forcing the tool. A quick-change punch and die arrangement reduces downtime when the cutting elements need attention. The tool runs at a free speed of 2,500 rpm and draws 3.5 cfm (100 l/min) of air through a 1/4 in inlet, requiring a minimum hose size of 3/8 in (10 mm).
At 0.8 kg the APT660 is light enough for extended use overhead or in restricted work envelopes.
