BG Universal Cooling System Cleaner (540E, 354ml) provides superior removal of scale, oil and harsh mineral deposits, glycol oxidation residues and rust, using no harsh chemicals and requiring no neutralisation of the system after use. Safe for all cooling system components.
BG Universal Cooling System Cleaner removes glycol oxidation residues — the degraded antifreeze by-products that form as coolant ages — along with rust, silicate gel deposits and oil contamination from head gasket leaks. By thoroughly cleaning the system before refilling with fresh antifreeze, it helps new coolant perform to its full specification and extends the service life of cooling system components.
Compatible with all cooling system metals including aluminium. Also available in a larger size (SKU: 54032) for workshop or fleet use. Use as part of a complete cooling system service prior to antifreeze replacement.
