Brake squeal and vibration caused by pad-to-rotor sticking is one of the most common customer complaints after a brake service. BG Stop Squeal® (860, 30ml) eliminates and prevents brake noise and vibrations by infusing the brake pad with ingredients that reduce this sticking. It has no detrimental effect on stopping distance and is tested to FMVSS 135 standard.
BG Stop Squeal® is applied to the back of the brake pad before fitting, where it penetrates the pad material to reduce the vibrational resonance that causes squeal. It does not affect braking performance and is safe for use on disc brake systems. The formula is designed to provide lasting noise reduction throughout the brake pad's service life.
A 30ml bottle provides sufficient treatment for a set of brake pads. Used widely by professional technicians as part of brake service to ensure quiet, smooth braking performance.
Apply to the back of the brake pad before fitting. Please refer to the product label for full application instructions. Apply as part of a routine brake service or inspection. Suitable for use on all passenger cars, vans and light commercial vehicles with disc or drum brake systems.

A. BG Stop Squeal (PN 860) is a disc brake quietener applied to the back of brake pads. Damps high-frequency vibration between caliper piston/bracket and the pad backing plate, eliminating brake squeal noise.
A. Apply a thin even layer to the back of the brake pad (the side that contacts the caliper piston and/or caliper bracket fingers) before fitting. Allow the recommended cure time before brake use — refer to product directions.
A. BG Stop Squeal targets vibration-induced squeal between the pad backing plate and caliper. Noise from worn pads, glazed pads, scored discs, or warped discs is mechanical and requires the cause to be addressed — not chemical treatment.
A. Yes. BG Stop Squeal is applied to the back of the pad (not the friction surface) and is safe on ceramic, organic and metallic pad compounds. Do not contaminate the friction surface or disc.
A. Yes. A 30ml tube of BG Stop Squeal is sufficient for several brake jobs — only a thin even layer is required per pad backing. Replace at the next brake job if drying out has occurred.
