A. BG DOC (Diesel Oil Conditioner) fortifies diesel engine oil, neutralises acids, reduces wear and prevents sludge. The 946ml bottle (11232) is the workshop size, treating large commercial crankcases or providing multiple passenger-vehicle doses.
A. Add to diesel engine oil at: 100ml per 2–3 litres of oil, 177ml per 3–4 litres, 325ml per 4–6 litres, 650ml per 7–9 litres, or 946ml per 9–15 litres. Do not overfill the crankcase.
A. BG DOC maintains diesel oil performance, neutralises acid corrosion from combustion blow-by, reduces friction and wear, stabilises viscosity, and prevents sludge through enhanced oxidation control and soot-scatter technology.
A. Yes. BG DOC is compatible with all diesel engine oils, including fully synthetic and multi-grade. It fortifies the existing oil without altering base specification.
A. Yes. BG DOC uses soot-scatter technology to keep combustion soot suspended in the oil and prevent it agglomerating into sludge. Particularly relevant for diesels operating under prolonged drain intervals.
A. BG DOC is added at oil change to fortify the fresh oil for the whole service interval. It works as preventive maintenance rather than a one-off clean.
A. BG DOC is formulated specifically for diesel engines (acid neutralisation, soot handling). BG MOA is the equivalent for petrol engines. Use DOC for diesel, MOA for petrol — they are not interchangeable.
A. Yes. BG DOC is compatible with modern diesel emissions systems including diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and exhaust aftertreatment systems.
A. BG DOC reduces sludge and oxidation-related issues that contribute to oil-related smoke. It does not address fuel-system or injector-deposit smoke — for those, use BG 244 or BG 245 in the fuel.
