BG DEXRON®-VI Low Viscosity Full Synthetic ATF (31632, 946ml) is a full synthetic transmission fluid formulated specifically for Ford and GM automatic transmissions requiring a DEXRON®-VI compatible low viscosity ATF. DEXRON®-VI is the current GM ATF specification and is widely backward-compatible, making this fluid suitable for a broad range of Ford and GM vehicles.
BG DEXRON®-VI Low Viscosity ATF provides superior lubrication and protection in demanding automatic transmission applications, meeting the performance requirements of both the DEXRON®-VI specification and other compatible ATF specifications. Its low viscosity helps reduce internal transmission friction to support fuel economy, while excellent anti-wear performance protects transmission components throughout their service life.

A. Most modern Ford and GM automatic transmissions specify DEXRON-VI (and DEXRON-VI is also backwards-compatible with earlier DEXRON specifications). Check vehicle handbook to confirm.
A. DEXRON-VI is backwards-compatible with earlier DEXRON-III applications, but standard ATF should NOT be substituted into transmissions specifying DEXRON-VI. Use the OEM-specified fluid.
A. NO. BG DEXRON-VI Low Viscosity Full Synthetic is NOT for CVT, DCT or Ford Type F applications. For CVT/DCT, use BG Premium Full Synthetic CVT Fluid (PN 3184/31853).
A. Refer to your vehicle manufacturer's service schedule. Most DEXRON-VI applications have defined service intervals at which fluid quality has degraded enough that replacement is needed.
A. A 946ml bottle is a single-vehicle top-up or partial-service size. Full transmission fluid exchanges typically require 6–12 litres depending on transmission capacity — multiple bottles or a workshop bulk pack.
