Oil FinderShell Rimula R5 LE 10W-30 is a synthetic-technology heavy-duty diesel engine oil featuring Low-SAPS additive technology while delivering energy savings. Protective power is enhanced through synthetic base oil technology to deliver fuel economy performance without compromising durability.
The oil is suitable for low-emission engine use in Euro 4, Euro 5 and Euro 6 applications, with an advanced low-ash formulation that helps control DPF blocking and supports emission-system performance. Claimed fuel economy is 2-4% versus reference.
Approvals and performance levels include ACEA E9; API CK-4; JASO DH-2; MB-Approval 228.31; Volvo VDS-4.5; MAN M3775; Caterpillar ECF-3 (and ECF-2); Cummins CES 20086; MTU Type 2.1; Deutz DQC III-18 LA; Ford WSS-M2C171-F1; Renault Trucks RLD-3; and Detroit Diesel 93K222.
Shell Rimula R5 LE 10W-30 is also available in a 209-litre drum (PRD00004389) for workshop bulk supply.
The 20-litre pack format is suited to single-machine top-up and small workshop service. Store sealed in the original packaging, in a clean, dry area away from extremes of temperature, to preserve product performance over its shelf life.
