Castrol Vecton Long Drain 5W-30 E6/E9 is an advanced full synthetic heavy-duty diesel engine oil engineered to deliver longer useful oil life and additional fuel savings. It is suitable for highly rated diesel engines meeting Euro I to Euro VI emission requirements, including engines fitted with diesel particulate filters (DPF), engines with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), and engines fitted with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) NOx reduction systems.
The oil is strongly recommended for engines fitted with particulate filters and is designed for use in combination with low sulphur diesel fuel. As a 5W-30 low SAPS formulation it supports cold-start performance and contributes to fleet-level fuel-economy targets, particularly in mixed Euro V and Euro VI operations.
Approvals and performance levels include ACEA E6, E7, E9; API CJ-4; JASO DH-2; Caterpillar ECF-3; Cummins CES 20081; DDC Powerguard 93K218; Deutz DQC IV-10LA; Mack EO-O Premium Plus; MAN M 3271-1, M 3477, M 3575 and M 3677; MB-Approval 228.51; Renault Trucks RLD-3; Scania LDF-4; and Volvo VDS-4.
