Castrol CRB Multi 15W-40 CI-4/E7 in the 208-litre drum is supplied for workshop bulk service, multi-machine fleet maintenance and on-site refuelling depots running heavy-duty diesel equipment. It is a multi-purpose mineral heavy-duty diesel engine oil suitable for use in high-speed 4-stroke diesel engines that use a broad range of fuel qualities, and is compatible with diesel engines fitted with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems.
The oil is formulated with cleaning detergents that displace particles which may otherwise build up on engine surfaces, and anti-oxidants which disrupt the chemical reactions that lead to oil thickening over the drain interval. The formulation provides effective piston deposit control and maintains its viscosity over service life.
Approvals and performance levels include ACEA E7; API CI-4/SL; Caterpillar ECF-2; Cummins CES 20077 and CES 20078; DDC Powerguard 93K215; Deutz DQC III-10; Mack EO-M Plus and EO-N; MB-Approval 228.3; MTU Oil Category 2; Renault Trucks RLD-2; and Volvo VDS-3. The product meets the requirements of MAN M3275-1.
For single-machine service and smaller operators, Castrol CRB Multi 15W-40 CI-4/E7 is also available in a 20-litre pack (PRD00002082).
