Castrol Radicool NF in the 208-litre drum is supplied for workshop bulk service. It is an antifreeze coolant concentrate formulated for engine cooling-system protection — the 'NF' designation indicating Nitrite-Free chemistry with G11-class silicate hybrid positioning.
The product provides frost protection, corrosion protection of aluminium and cast-iron engine components, and resistance to scale formation when mixed with water at the recommended dilution ratio.
Approvals and performance levels include MAN M324 NF; VW TL 774C (G11); and BS 6580:2010. The product is tested to ASTM D3306; ASTM D4985; ASTM D1123; ASTM D1121; ASTM D1120; and ASTM D1287.
For single-vehicle service, Castrol Radicool NF is also available in a 20-litre pack (PRD00002438).
Always follow the engine manufacturer's coolant change interval, top-up procedure and disposal requirements. Used coolant is classified as hazardous waste under UK regulations and should be disposed of via an authorised waste contractor — not poured to drain. Store coolant concentrate sealed in the original packaging, at moderate temperatures and away from direct sunlight.
Castrol Radicool NF is an antifreeze concentrate formulated using monoethylene glycol and selected additives, free from nitrite, amine and phosphate inhibitors. It uses hybrid technology for the modern performance engines of cars and trucks. This coolant should be used at concentrations of between 33 % and 50% dilution with purified water to give optimum corrosion protection and freezing protection between -18°C and -36°C.
