Product Number: 8-82415
Variations
The Haztec 8-82415 is the siren/PA member of the compact weatherproof EuroSmart amplifier pair - the sibling of the 8-82414 with public address capability, designed for one or two compact 8-7050-RC/SC 50W speakers.
It appears at the centre of the typical Haztec system layout: amplifier, speakers, control, and the optional plug-in microphone - the 8-82002 fist microphone adding live PA, with the 8-82005 CANbus record/playback microphone as the step-up. That PA layer is the reason this amplifier exists: announcements through the siren speakers, from a weatherproof unit compact enough for motorcycles and small vehicles.
The family platform carries over: dual oscillators for mixed and fanfare tones on paired speakers, 118/123dBA system outputs at 2 metres, homologated tone sets for France, Germany and other markets, and programmable positive/negative inputs.
Build the system with the speakers, the weatherproof switching (8-87421 on motorcycles) and the microphone option the role requires; the 8-82414 covers siren-only installations. Because the microphones are plug-in, PA can be added after installation - specify the amplifier now, add the handset when the role demands it.
