The Haztec 8-8120-RC is a 100W compact speaker in the 8000 Series Premium range, Haztec's high specification family suitable for all applications.
Like its siblings, it uses a high output neodymium driver with heavy duty components in a compact housing. The RC format is one of the round compact bodies in the range, sized for the tight packaging positions typical of modern vehicle front ends, alongside the ultra-slim 8-8120-MT at 85mm deep.
Match the speaker to the amplifier by rating: the speaker must be rated at least equal to the amplifier's maximum output, so this 100W unit pairs with any Haztec amplifier up to 100W. For tone programmes using true fanfare or mixed tones, fit two speakers.
Within the family, choose between the RC and other body formats by mounting space; electrical specification across the 100W members is consistent, so the housing is the deciding factor.
