The Sykes Pickavant 02810200 Medium Stone Set provides a direct replacement for the stones used with the 02810000 Cylinder Honing Set, restoring the tool to full working condition with correctly specified medium grit abrasives.
Each stone in the set is manufactured to a 220 grit specification, placing it in the medium abrasive range suited to intermediate honing passes where material removal and surface refinement are balanced. The stones engage the cylinder bore via cotter pin retention, and the set includes three replacement cotter pins alongside the three 100 mm stones, ensuring the complete assembly can be renewed in a single purchase.
The three 100 mm stones are compatible with the 02810000 Cylinder Honing Set, which covers bore diameters from 50 mm to 180 mm. The packaged set dimensions are 180 x 80 x 180 mm and the set weighs 0.09 kg.
Two further stone grades are available separately: the 02810100 Fine Stone Set and the 02810300 Coarse Stone Set, allowing the correct abrasive to be selected for each stage of the honing sequence.
