Product Number: 33158100
Pressure-testing the cooling system on a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y requires a cap adaptor that fits the vehicle's specific coolant reservoir neck — a standard universal cap will not seal correctly and renders a pressure test unreliable. The Sykes-Pickavant 33158100 Cooling Cap Adaptor is engineered specifically for these two Tesla models, providing the precise fit needed to carry out a proper cooling system pressure test.
The adaptor integrates with the Sykes-Pickavant 315 series Cooling System Pressure Test programme, connecting to the cooling system via the reservoir cap neck. All components within the 315 series range are fully compatible with older Sykes-Pickavant Cooling System Kits that feature quick-release connectors, enabling technicians to upgrade existing equipment without replacing an entire kit. For older systems using a threaded connection rather than a quick-release fitting, a separate adaptor is available (part number 03186870).
The inside cap diameter of this adaptor is 39 mm. Physical dimensions are 82 mm x 72 mm x 104 mm (L x W x H) and the unit weighs 0.168 kg. Compatible applications are the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y.
This adaptor is one of more than 20 specialist cooling system cap adaptors available within the 315 series programme, which provides coverage for both popular and less common vehicle models. Sykes-Pickavant continually updates the range as new models are released.
