The 1422-060 is a compression latch from the 1422 series, fitted with a 10mm male hexagon insert and finished in black powder coat. It is purpose-built for panel-mounted enclosure and cabinet applications where a secure, adjustable compression closure is required, and carries an IP65 ingress-protection rating to suit demanding workshop and industrial environments.
The latch housing and cylinder are constructed from zinc die-cast alloy with a black powder-coated finish, while the cam and shaft are mild steel with zinc plating. The 10mm male hexagon drive allows operation with standard hex keys. A cam is included with the unit.
The 1422-060 accepts a panel cutout of 19.5 x 19.5 mm and accommodates panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 16 mm. The adjustable grip range covers five selectable settings: 11.4–27.2 mm, 25.4–28.6 mm, 38.9–54.6 mm, 52.6–68.3 mm, and 66.3–76.2 mm, giving substantial flexibility across varying door and panel assemblies.
