The 1421-20 is a mini compression latch in the 1421 series, finished in black powder coated cast zinc body featuring a mild steel zinc plated shaft and cam. Designed for panel-mounted applications requiring a tubular key operated locking mechanism, it carries IP65-grade weather sealing and ships with the cam included.
The adjustable grip range is a defining practical feature of this latch. Eight grip ranges are available — 3.2–6.4 mm, 6.4–9.5 mm, 9.5–12.7 mm, 12.7–15.9 mm, 15.9–19 mm, 19–22.2 mm, 22.2–25.4 mm, and 25.4–28.6 mm — making it suitable for panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 10 mm.
