The 1421-08 is a mini compression latch with a wing knob handle and adjustable grip, finished in black powder coat over a die cast zinc alloy body with a mild steel zinc plated shaft and cam. Designed for secure panel fastening across a wide range of enclosures and equipment housings, it carries IP65 ingress protection and suits panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 10 mm.
The latch is supplied with cam included and is available in eight grip range options: 3.2–6.4 mm, 6.4–9.5 mm, 9.5–12.7 mm, 12.7–15.9 mm, 15.9–19 mm, 19–22.2 mm, 22.2–25.4 mm, and 25.4–28.6 mm, allowing precise clamping force to be matched to the application. The mounting cutout requirement is 13.5 × 16 mm. The latch operates in a non-locking configuration. A bright chrome finish variant is also available — contact us for further information.
