The 1422-07 is a compression latch featuring a wing knob handle with adjustable grip, finished in black powder coat. It is engineered for panel-mounting applications requiring a secure, tool-free compression closure with an IP65-rated seal.
The latch is constructed from a zinc die-cast alloy housing and cylinder with a mild steel zinc-plated cam and shaft. The black powder-coated finish provides corrosion resistance suited to industrial enclosure and cabinet applications. A cam is included as standard. The mounting cutout dimension is 19.5 x 19.5 mm and the latch accommodates panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 16 mm. Five grip ranges are available: 11.4–27.2 mm, 25.4–28.6 mm, 38.9–54.6 mm, 52.6–68.3 mm, and 66.3–76.2 mm, allowing the latch to suit a wide variety of enclosure wall depths. The lock type is non-locking. The latch carries a sealed IP65 rating.
