Product Number: PDO60S
Water in a compressed air line ruins paint finishes and wears out tools long before their time. The Dropout PDO60S is the smallest unit in the stainless steel Dropout range, with 1/4 BSPT ports and a maximum flow of 90 l/min (3.2 cfm), sized for a single point-of-use position right where the tool hose connects to the system.
The body is Grade 304 stainless steel and sealed for life. Dropout's patented design removes 99.9999% of liquid water and oil and 99% of solid particulates, down to 1 micron, without mains power and without replacement filter elements to buy. Because there is no element to block, the pressure drop does not rise over time, and the unit recovers instantly from pulsed or stop-start flow.
PCL recommends Dropout where there is a high concentration of water in the air supply, and it is widely used in paint and refinish work as an alternative to an air dryer. The PDO60S is rated to 15 bar (217 psi), carries the ATEX mark Ex II 2G IIC T6 Gb, and comes with a wall bracket and a drain valve for manual draining. The Dropout PDOAD128 auto-drain can be added to empty it automatically.
