Product Number: PDO1500S
Larger compressed air systems move a lot of water, and every litre that gets past the receiver reaches tools, spray booths and pipework. The Dropout PDO1500S handles high flow on a 1 inch line, with 1 BSPT ports and a maximum flow of 2,314 l/min (81.7 cfm).
The unit is built in sealed-for-life Grade 304 stainless steel. Its patented design removes 99.9999% of liquid water and oil and 99% of solid particulates down to 1 micron, with no mains power and no filter elements to replace. With nothing to block, pressure drop does not build up, and the separator recovers instantly from pulsed or stop-start flow.
It is rated to 15 bar (217 psi), carries the ATEX mark Ex II 2G IIC T6 Gb, and is supplied with a wall bracket and a manual drain valve. The Dropout PDOAD128 auto-drain can be added so collected liquid clears automatically, which suits continuous use and hard-to-reach positions.
PCL recommends Dropout where the air supply carries a high concentration of water, and it is often fitted in paint and refinish work instead of a dryer.
For still more flow on a 1 inch line, choose the PDO2000S (3,085 l/min). Smaller stainless units run from the PDO60S (1/4) to the PDO900S (3/4).
