A. It adjusts between 35-50mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 35-50mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 1 3/8 to 1 15/16 in, covering common 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 in hose sizes.
A. JCS recommends 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in) for this size. Position the clip centrally over the hose barb and tighten incrementally to that torque - over-tightening can damage the hose.
A. Yes - this is the specification JCS makes for exactly that duty: 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless with Lloyd's Register Type Approval covering marine, offshore and industrial service, suited to salt water and other highly corrosive environments.
A. No mixed metals here - band, housing and screw are all the same stainless grade, and JCS verifies that through salt mist testing. Cheaper clips often pair a stainless band with a plated screw, which is the part that fails first.
A. Yes - JCS stainless hose clips are used across water and drainage infrastructure, including pumping solutions, stormwater and overflow management, wastewater treatment and agricultural irrigation networks.
A. JCS designs against it: the hex screw is cold-headed and work-hardened with rolled threads, so it holds its setting and will not round off. On high-vibration equipment, JCS's guidance is to recheck the clip after service to keep the seal intact.
A. This is a pack of 10 clips, all 35-50mm adjustment range. Other pack formats of the same clip are listed separately.
