On pumps, washdown plant and boats, the clip is the first metal part to rust - unless every component of it is stainless.
The HGS60RP is a Hi-Grip worm drive clip adjusting between 45-60mm. Its band edges are fully rounded to protect the hose, and the hex screw is cold-headed and work-hardened with rolled threads, so it resists slipping or rounding under the driver. Tighten incrementally to the recommended 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in); over-tightening is what damages hoses. The range is manufactured to exceed BS5315 and carries the BSI Kitemark and NATO approval.
Built from 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel (EN 1.4301), it holds Lloyd's Register Type Approval for marine, offshore and industrial use. JCS stainless clips are used across water and drainage plant - pumping solutions, stormwater and overflow systems, wastewater treatment and irrigation networks. Size by the fitted outside diameter of the hose and seat the clip centrally over the barb.

All-stainless construction verified by salt mist testing - made and batch-tested in-house in Sudbury, Suffolk under ISO 9001:2015.

A. This size spans 45-60mm of fitted hose outside diameter. Measure the hose over its fitting, not the bare bore - anywhere inside 45-60mm and the HGS60RP is the right clip. One JCS size covers a span that would take two fixed nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 1 3/4 to 2 3/8 in, covering common 2 in hose sizes.
A. For this size band JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Work up to it gradually with the clip seated centrally on the barb; going past it risks damaging the hose rather than improving the seal.
