The rubber compound works by absorbing and dissipating impact energy under compression, shear, or a combination of both loading modes. This action cushions machinery against shocks originating from external moving components, reduces transmitted impact force, and protects surrounding structures from fatigue and damage. The bonded metal plate provides a rigid, consistent fixing interface whilst the rubber element accommodates dynamic deflection, improving machinery lifespan and operator comfort in demanding operating cycles.
