A. The buffer measures 25 mm diameter by 8 mm height, with an M6 x 18 mm male stud. It has a maximum load rating of 114.0 kg and a deflection of 2.0 mm.
A. At 45 Shore A, this is the softest grade in the 25 x 8 mm Male Flat Buffer range. Softer grades give greater deflection and better vibration isolation at lower load inputs, making this grade most suitable for lighter or vibration-sensitive equipment where isolation matters more than restraint.
A. Male Flat Buffers in this soft grade are used across construction equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial plant, elevators, and commercial vehicles — particularly in applications involving lighter loads, compact mounting geometry, or lower-frequency vibration isolation requirements.
A. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction absorbs and dissipates energy from impact or vibration. The buffer can be loaded in compression, shear, or a combination of both, and can cushion contact from secondary moving components or act as an elastic element in direct contact with a surface.
A. Yes. For the same 25 x 8 mm body at higher load or firmer restraint, the 60 Shore A (2508MFB18-60) and 70 Shore A (2508MFB18-70) variants are available. A wider family of sizes is also stocked, including 0808MFB06, 100100MFB44, 10030MFB41, 10040MFB44, 10050MFB41, and 10055MFB44.
A. Yes. Stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request, as are additional and custom sizes not listed in the standard range.
A. We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for items that are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
