A. This buffer has a maximum load rating of 77.0 kg and a deflection of 5.0 mm, making it suited to lighter and compact installations where generous movement under load is required.
A. Shore A is a measure of rubber hardness. At 45 Shore A, this is the softest grade in the flat buffer range: softer compounds produce greater deflection and better vibration isolation at lower loads, prioritising isolation over load restraint. Harder grades carry higher loads with less movement.
A. The soft 45 Shore A grade is well suited to sensitive or lighter equipment — including compact agricultural machinery, lighter industrial equipment, power-generation units, and applications where lower-frequency vibration isolation and operator comfort take priority.
A. The buffer uses rubber-to-metal bonded construction to absorb and dissipate energy on impact or vibration contact. It may be loaded in compression, shear, or a combination, cushioning machinery against shock from external moving components and protecting surrounding structures.
A. Yes. The same 30 x 20 mm M6 geometry is available in 60 Shore A (3020FFB06-60) and 70 Shore A (3020FFB06-70) for applications requiring higher load capacity or reduced deflection.
A. Yes. Oil-resistant and high-temperature rubber compounds, stainless steel metalwork, and additional custom sizes are available on request.
A. We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for items that are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Returns are available only for UK-delivered orders and must include proof of purchase. Before returning an item, please contact us at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Number (RMN).
