Compact and suited to lighter-duty isolation work, the waisted bobbin mount 20/12/30WMM18 is a rubber-to-metal bonded male-male anti-vibration mount with a 20 mm outer diameter, 12 mm waist diameter, 30 mm height, M6 thread and 18 mm stud length. Designed to absorb vibration and shock across shear, compression or a combined loading direction, it is well matched to sensitive instrument mountings, smaller air-conditioning units and light exhaust or auxiliary equipment where controlled deflection at lower loads is the priority. Constructed with rubber bonded directly to metal inserts, the waisted profile allows movement in shear as well as compression, giving the mount flexibility in how it is oriented and loaded. The geometry delivers greater deflection at lower loads, which translates into effective vibration isolation for applications where transmitted shock must be kept to a minimum and surrounding structures or sensitive equipment need protection from operational movement. The M6 male-male thread configuration suits panel, bracket and frame installations where a through-fixing or stud arrangement is required. The mount supports applications across industrial machinery and equipment, power generation, agricultural plant, marine installations and automotive ancillary systems. Custom metals, including stainless steel. And oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request for demanding environments. This mount is part of a broader waisted bobbin range.
