At 70 Shore A, the rubber delivers firm resistance with minimal deflection under load, making this the correct specification where structural restraint, impact absorption and positional stability take precedence over maximum vibration isolation. The outer diameter measures 100 mm (D1), the secondary diameter 95 mm (D2), and the overall height 75 mm (H), with an M16x45 stud on the primary face and an M16 thread on the secondary face. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction gives dependable load transfer across the mount body, and because the mount is usable in shear, compression or a combination of both, it can be orientated to suit the dominant load direction in service. The firmer compound is particularly well suited to generator sets running under variable electrical demand, diesel engines subject to torque impulse, and exhaust mounting systems exposed to sustained vibration and thermal cycling. Heavier industrial machinery and construction or off-highway equipment, where mounting points must resist shock loads and hold alignment, are equally appropriate duties for this grade.
