Constructed using rubber-to-metal bonded technology, this mount can be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers flexibility in how it is positioned and oriented within an assembly. The 60 Shore A rubber compound represents the general-purpose grade within the range: firmer than the softest grades and therefore providing more positional control, yet deflecting sufficiently to absorb vibration and reduce shock transmission in moderate-duty applications. Custom variants using oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers, and stainless steel metalwork, are available on request. The 3040MM20-60 is appropriate for a broad cross-section of installations including instruments, air-conditioning units, and industrial machinery and equipment where mounting loads fall within its 27.0 kg capacity. Beyond equipment protection, correct anti-vibration mounting improves operator comfort, safeguards surrounding structures, and extends machinery service life across sectors including power generation, agriculture, marine, and automotive. This mount is available in alternative Shore A hardness grades: 45 Shore A (3040MM20-45) and 70 Shore A (3040MM20-70).
