At 43mm diameter, the HEX1386/45-45 is the largest mount in this hexagon bobbin range, a 45 Shore A rubber-to-metal bonded anti-vibration mount with M12 male-male thread configuration, engineered to deliver maximum isolation compliance under load. Where softer rubber behaviour takes priority over positional restraint, this grade's inherent flexibility becomes the design advantage: rated to 58.0 kg in compression with a deflection of 1.7 mm and 28.0 kg in shear with a deflection of 6.0 mm, the mount allows controlled movement that attenuates vibration rather than transmitting it rigidly through the structure. The 45 Shore A hardness grade is the correct choice when the objective is to absorb lower-frequency vibration from lighter or sensitive equipment, preserving the surrounding structure and improving operator comfort. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction ensures the elastomer remains bonded to its steel inserts under cyclic loading, and the geometry supports loading in compression, shear, or a combination of both, giving the installer flexibility to match the mount orientation to the actual load path.
