Rubber-to-metal bonded construction keeps the elastomer securely bonded under sustained loading, whether the mount is working in shear, compression, or a combination of both. The geometry and thread configuration are shared across a family of bobbins that serve air-conditioning units, instrument panels, and the mounting of sensitive industrial equipment, applications where the priority is absorbing movement rather than providing firm mechanical restraint.
