At 70 Shore A, this mount prioritises restraint and positional stability over isolation travel. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction resists the cyclic stressing typical of high-load machinery environments, while the female-female thread configuration allows direct in-line fastening between structural faces without additional hardware. The mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers flexibility in how the load is presented to the rubber element. The firm hardness grade suits applications where the mounted item must be held with minimal movement: diesel engines and generator sets subject to torque reaction, industrial machinery carrying substantial dynamic loads, and exhaust mountings or off-highway equipment where shock inputs are frequent and pronounced.
