At the stiffer end of the Shore A range, this grade prioritises load capacity and restraint over compliance, making it the appropriate choice when heavier plant must not shift under shock or sustained vibration. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction gives the mount structural integrity under combined loading; the female-female thread configuration suits inline installations where a through-bolt or captive stud is already present at both faces. Like all mounts in this family, it may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of the two, giving installation engineers flexibility in orientation without sacrificing rated performance. The 70 Shore A hardness grade is well-suited to diesel engines and generator sets where torque reaction and combustion shock must be absorbed without allowing sustained oscillation, as well as to industrial machinery, construction and off-highway equipment, and power generation installations operating at higher load densities. Where air-conditioning units or instruments require greater isolation at lower loads, softer grades within the same geometry are the correct selection, this firm grade is reserved for situations where restraint and load-bearing outweigh isolation sensitivity. The 5025FF10 geometry is available in 45 Shore A (5025FF10-45) and 60 Shore A (5025FF10-60) for lighter-duty or more isolation-focused requirements.
