This 80 mm cone (cab) mount carries an 45 Shore A rubber grade, the softest available in the CDM family. And is designed for lighter, compact or sensitive installations where maximum deflection under load is a functional advantage. With a maximum rated load of 90 kg and an M16 fixing bolt torque limit of 240 N·m, the mount is matched to the lower end of the CDM load range, making it suited to applications where equipment weight is moderate and freedom of movement in the vertical axis is required to achieve effective isolation. The CDM geometry is characterised by high horizontal stiffness relative to vertical stiffness, a proportional relationship that controls cab and engine movement without sacrificing isolation performance. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction ensures the elastomer and metalwork act as a single assembly, delivering consistent load distribution and long service life. The failsafe design makes the mount well suited to mobile applications where secondary containment is a requirement.
