The SIP 25172 P200W-DC ES is a professional petrol welder generator designed for heavy-duty performance in demanding environments. Powered by a Honda GX390 389cc OHV EURO V engine with electric starting, it delivers up to 200A DC welding output and a maximum rated generator output of 4.00kVA, making it equally capable as a field welder and a portable power source.
At the heart of this machine is the Honda GX390 engine, built with a heavy-duty cast iron cylinder liner, inclined cylinder and counterbalance shaft, and a heavy-duty splash-fed lubrication system. A low oil shutdown feature helps prevent engine damage during prolonged use. The welding circuit outputs 50A to 200A DC via Dinse socket connections, with an open circuit voltage of 75V and a duty cycle rated at 170A at 60%. DC output enables the use of specialist electrodes suited to both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The generator supplies both 230V and 115V, extending the unit's usefulness as a site power source alongside welding operations. The electrode diameter range runs from 1.6mm to 5mm, accommodating material thicknesses of 1.5mm to 8mm. The 7.3-litre fuel tank provides an approximate runtime of 2.45 hours. The unit carries a Protection Level of IP21 and Insulation Class H. Net weight is 85.50kg; packaged dimensions are 820mm (H) x 800mm (W) x 1200mm (D).
The machine is assembled and tested by SIP in the UK and is supplied on a robust wheel-mounted frame suited to site and workshop deployment. The Honda GX390 engine is covered by a 3-year Honda engine warranty.
