The cranked ring end features a 90-tooth ratchet mechanism and is offset at 15°, meaning only 5° of movement is required to advance the fastener. A forward/reverse direction changer on the ring end allows the user to switch drive direction without repositioning on the fastener, a significant advantage when working in restricted access areas. The open end is likewise set at 15° to further ease operation in tight confines. The 12-point HI-TORQ® ring end geometry is designed to optimise leverage and torque distribution across the fastener faces. The spanner is forged from chrome vanadium steel, then hardened, tempered, chrome plated and fully polished throughout, delivering a durable, corrosion-resistant finish suited to demanding professional use.
