Individually tested to 10,000V and certified to EN 60900, each blade is rated for use on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, providing the assurance professional electricians require. A two-piece moulded handle and blade sleeve allows blades to be fitted deep into the handle, eliminating the risk of flashover during live working. The ergonomic soft-grip bi-material handle is engineered for both speed and control: free spinning in the palm enables rapid screw tightening, while the handle geometry also transfers full torque when required. The VDE interchangeable blades are manufactured from SVCM steel for added strength and feature a press-in auto-lock action with a straightforward release method, making blade changes fast and secure. The 18-piece set covers the most common drive types encountered in electrical installations. Contents include five plain slot blades (3.0–6.5 x 100mm), three cross-slot blades (No.0–No.2), three PZ TYPE blades compatible with Pozidriv®/Supadriv® fixing systems (No.0–No.2), and four Draper TX-STAR® blades (T10–T25) compatible with Torx fixing systems, supplemented by an insulated screwdriver handle, an insulated precision screwdriver handle, and a 240V mains tester. PZ TYPE and Draper TX-STAR® blades are not Pozidriv®, Supadriv®, or Torx branded products. The complete set is supplied in a purpose-built carrier for secure storage and transportation between sites.
