The Draper Expert XP1000® VDE Slimline Screwdriver Set supplies six precision screwdrivers built specifically for terminal and switchboard work, where access to deep-seated screws is essential. The insulated sheaths share the same diameter as the blades, allowing the tool to reach restricted cavities that conventional screwdrivers cannot enter. Each screwdriver is individually tested to 10,000V and certified for use on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC in accordance with EN 60900. The patented dual-layer insulation is a critical safety feature: should the outer layer sustain damage, the breach is immediately visible, prompting replacement before risk arises. SCVM steel blades are hardened, tempered and chemically blackened, with a precision-machined tip for an exact fit that protects fastener heads from camming out. The ergonomic bi-material soft-grip handle is designed for comfort under sustained use. It allows free spinning in the palm when positioning screws quickly, whilst delivering the grip needed for torque transfer during final tightening. Flat sides prevent the screwdrivers from rolling off work surfaces. The set contains three plain slot sizes (3.5 x 100mm, 4.0 x 100mm, 5.5 x 125mm), one cross slot (No.2 x 100mm), and two PZ TYPE sizes (No.1 x 80mm, No.2 x 100mm) compatible with Pozidriv®/Supadriv® fixing systems — registered trademarks of Trifast Plc.
