The Draper XP1000® VDE Slimline PZ Type Screwdriver (No.2 x 100mm) meets that need with a slimline blade and insulated sheath engineered to the same diameter as the blade itself, allowing unobstructed reach to deep-seated screws in terminals and switchboards where a standard screwdriver would not fit. Safety is built into the design at every level. The patented dual-layer insulation ensures that any damage to the outer sheath is immediately and highly visible, providing a clear warning before a compromised tool is used on live conductors. Each screwdriver is individually tested to 10,000V and certified suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, manufactured and individually certified to EN 60900. The SCVM steel blade is hardened, tempered and chemically blackened, with a precision-machined No.2 PZ tip engineered for an exact fit to the fastener — reducing the risk of cam-out and screw damage in sensitive electrical assemblies. Blade length is 100mm. The ergonomic bi-material soft grip handle is designed for both comfort and control. It allows free spinning in the palm during rapid tightening operations whilst also enabling full torque transfer when drive is required. Flat sides on the handle prevent the tool from rolling on a workbench surface.
