The blade is produced from SVCM steel that has been hardened, tempered and chemically blackened, with a precision-machined 5.5mm plain slot tip engineered for an exact fit to prevent screw damage during use. This level of tip accuracy is particularly important when working on terminal blocks and electrical connection points where screw-head integrity must be maintained. Designed as part of the Draper Expert 965 ERGO PLUS interchangeable system, this blade connects to all existing Draper Expert 965 interchangeable range screwdrivers, allowing one handle to serve multiple blade configurations across a workshop or site kit. The blade tip measures 5.5mm with a 100mm blade length. Supplied as a single XP1000® Plain Slot VDE Interchangeable Screwdriver Blade, 5.5 x 100mm, this is an Expert quality component built to the same VDE insulation specification as the rest of the 965 ERGO PLUS range, making it a reliable replacement or addition to an existing set.
