The Draper XP1000® VDE Slimline Cross Slot Screwdriver addresses this with a slimline blade and an insulated sheath of the same diameter as the blade, providing unobstructed access to recessed fasteners in confined electrical enclosures. The patented dual-layer insulation is engineered so that any damage to the outer layer is immediately and clearly visible, giving the user an unambiguous warning before integrity is compromised. Each screwdriver is individually tested to 10,000V and certified for use on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, in accordance with EN 60900. The SCVM steel blade is hardened, tempered and chemically blackened, with a precision-machined No.2 cross slot tip that ensures an exact fit to the fastener head, reducing the risk of screw damage under load. The bi-material soft grip handle allows free spinning in the palm for rapid tightening, whilst also transferring torque effectively when firm driving force is required. Flat sides to the handle prevent the screwdriver from rolling on work surfaces. Supplied as a single No.2 x 100mm blade length screwdriver, this tool forms part of the Draper Expert XP1000® 965 ERGO PLUS range and carries a Lifetime Warranty.
