Lifting heavy vehicles safely demands a jack that combines low-entry clearance with sufficient reach and reliable overload protection. The Draper 28494 3 Tonne low-profile trolley jack addresses this with a lifting range of 75 to 505mm, making it suitable for use beneath vehicles with limited ground clearance as well as those requiring greater lift height. The twin-piston quick-lift mechanism reaches maximum height in as few as eight pumps, reducing the effort and time required to raise a vehicle. A twin spring return system ensures the jack lowers in a controlled and safe manner when not under load, while a twin safety valve prevents overloading beyond the 3 Tonne rated capacity. The jack is manufactured to EN 1494 specification. An integrated rubber saddle pad with a 110mm diameter protects the underside of the vehicle during operation. The EVA foam handle cover guards against incidental panel damage, and the knurled handgrip at the end of the 1,145mm handle provides a secure, confident hold. Hardwearing nylon wheels with rear swivelling castors deliver quiet, smooth movement across workshop floors without causing surface damage. Key dimensions include a chassis length of 738mm and a total weight of 35kg. The jack is supplied in orange.
