Workshop bays and home garages alike demand a trolley jack that combines a low entry height with reliable, controlled lifting — the Draper 28485 3 Tonne Trolley Jack is built to meet that need. Its low-profile design allows operation from a minimum height of just 75mm, rising to a maximum of 505mm, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicles including those with reduced ground clearance. At the heart of the jack is a twin-piston quick-lift system that reaches maximum height in as few as eight pumps, reducing the effort required during repeated use. A twin spring return system ensures the jack lowers safely when not under load, whilst a twin safety valve prevents overloading beyond the 3 Tonne rated capacity. Both features contribute directly to safe operation in a working environment. To protect both the vehicle and the workshop floor, the jack is fitted with an integrated rubber saddle pad — 110mm in diameter — which cushions contact with the underside of the vehicle. An EVA foam handle cover provides protection against panel damage, and the knurled handgrip on the end of the 1,145mm lifting arm delivers a secure, confident hold. Hardwearing nylon wheels with rear swivelling castors ensure quiet, smooth movement across garage floors without causing surface damage. The jack has a chassis length of 738mm and weighs 35kg. It is manufactured to EN 1494 specification.
